India has had colorful history. It has many place of historical interest. The Taj is the queen among them all. I had a long desire to go to Agra and see the Taj. This long-cherished desire was fulfilled at last. Me and my friends make a tour to Agra.
We went to see the Taj on a full moon-lit night. It looked splendid in the silvery light of moon. Its white marble shone brightly. It was built by shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz. It is said that twenty thousand men built this wonderful tomb in twenty years. The Taj is perhaps the most beautiful building in the world. Its lawns, fountains and cypress trees enchanted me deeply. it seemed to have a magic-spell on us.
